Born in 1970, Gökhan Ertürk completed his bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations at the same university after completing the Departments of Electronics and Business Administration at Boğaziçi University with a double major program. In 2003, he embarked upon his career at Turkish Airlines A.Ş. Between 1996 and 1997, he worked in the Cash Management and Electronic Banking department as an Assistant Manager at İktisat Bank and in 1997-2002, he worked as a Department Manager at Turkish Economy Bank. As of 2002, he continued to serve as the head of Akbank's SME Banking Department, and between 2006 and 2014, he served as the Deputy General Manager of Retail Banking at DenizBank. Following his position as Deputy General Manager of Retail Banking at Şekerbank in 2014-2019, he served as the General Manager at Turk Finance A.Ş. Gökhan Ertürk is currently Assistant General Manager in charge of Ecosystem and Platform Banking.
